๐บ๐ธ D-Day โ June 6, 1944 ๐บ๐ธ
Today we pause to remember the extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and determination of the Allied forces who stormed the beaches of Normandy.
In the early hours of June 6, 1944, thousands of young men faced overwhelming odds as they crossed the English Channel and landed on the shores of France. Many would never return home, but their bravery helped turn the tide of World War II and secured the freedoms we enjoy today.
As we reflect on the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, let us honor those who answered their nation's call, remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and express our gratitude to the veterans whose courage changed the course of history.
"These were ordinary men who did extraordinary things."
May we never forget their sacrifice, their service, and the price of liberty.
