The ARW Mifflinburg thrift store is one of 10 thrift shops ran by the Williamsport American Rescue Workers, which is located on Elmira Street in Williamsport. Each thrift store contributes to supporting the ARW outreach by collecting and selling gently used clothing, furniture and household items to support the hunger and homelessness prevention services that their action-agency offers to the loca

l community. This store helps to support 3 homeless shelter programs that operate in Williamsport, and a Social Service Center on Elmira Street which offers food, clothing, furniture, personal care items and payment of shut-off/eviction notices to prevent homelessness.
