ACES North America is looking for someone interested in joining our Board of Directors and serving as Board Secretary in 2027.

If you’ve been curious about ACES, this is a great opportunity to sit in on a meeting, meet our board members, and learn more about what the Secretary role involves before making any commitment.

A two-mile walk shouldn’t stand between a child and their education. 💙

In 2022, a one-room school in the Dominican Republic closed, leaving local children to travel nearly two miles along a treacherous road to reach their new classrooms.

ACES is working to help safely reopen the school and bring education back to the community.

The project needs a small restroom, perimeter fencing, and grading, with an estimated total cost of $3,000.

Through ACES' new sponsorship program, $100 can help move this project closer to reopening its doors.

There’s a lot more happening at El Taller than making art. 🎨

A painting, craft, or hands-on project might be what children take home at the end of the day, but along the way, they’re building creativity, problem-solving skills, confidence, and connections with one another.

El Taller gives children opportunities to explore new ideas, learn about the world around them, and express themselves in a supportive environment.

The projects are fun. What they learn along the way is even better. 💙

What can you make with an old tire and a little creativity? 🛞

Older children at Angosto Kids Club recently learned how to turn used tires into furniture with guidance from a local community member who saw potential in something others might throw away.

The project gave the kids a chance to learn new hands-on skills, get creative, and turn recycled materials into something useful.

Even better, the Club hopes to sell the finished furniture to help raise funds for future programming!
