Lifland Skatepark

Lifland Skatepark Devoted to the construction and maintenance of a public concrete skatepark in the City of Williamsport.

Lifland Skatepark is a free public park which caters to skateboards, BMX bikes, rollerblades and scooters. It is brought to you through a very generous donation from Mrs. Sally Butterfield, in honor of her mother and father, Fay & Paul Lifland. There is no cost to enjoy yourself here but a signed waiver is required and proof of it will be in the form of a sticker to be placed on your helmet which

is also required. This is a RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK facility and we ask that you respect the rules. BMX bikes will need to have at least one working brake and pegs will not be allowed on pool coping areas. Respect each other's lines and be mindful of younger riders.

I am completely floored and overjoyed at the moment. Sally and I had a meeting with Williamsport’s Economic Development team today about the Phase Two expansion of Lifland Skatepark and nothing could’ve gone smoother. They were ecstatic about our plans and told us the timing couldn’t be better and how perfectly they will work with all of the other great projects moving along in the city. They will be submitting these plans in their next round of grant applications, and if everything works out, this could happen as soon as 2027. We’ve been waiting for a moment like this for 13 years. We did the best we could with 50k at the time and realize we couldn’t please everyone, but this time around we should finally have the park everyone wished for originally. These plans will be thoroughly gone over and changed accordingly if these grants go through, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t see everything you want in these designs.

I’d like to take a moment to thank everyone who showed up or donated to our third Lifland Skatepark Radical Ride. More people showed up than ever and we sold over 200 T-shirts. There are still shirts to deliver and collect for, but it’s safe to say that we raised more than 4000 dollars. We hope to be finally pouring more concrete by this spring. Wooohooo!!! Still some extra t-shirts available for $20.
