It has been a privilege to teach our kids new and exciting science, technology, engineering, arts and Math skills over the last 9 weeks. Today they got to relax and hang out with our mentors in the park. We had a wonderful summer and can’t wait to see everyone back in the fall. Afterschool program starts September 9th… see you soon!

It’s sad that the only time the community comes together is to release balloons. We need to be more proactive to come together to figure out how we can stop the violence before it starts.
We need to go to our city council meetings.
Go to our commissioner meetings when it’s about our kids.
We need to search their rooms for drugs and guns.
We need to come together before someone gets killed!
We need to make a difference by working together to make changes for our community!
