The Williamsport/Lycoming KIZ is the entrepreneurial support arm of IMC, Inc., offering innovation support services and resource connections to accelerate entrepreneurs and start-up companies from a product or business concept to market launch. Williamsport/Lycoming KIZ is part of Pennsylvania’s statewide KIZ program facilitated by the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development. K

IMC has been providing product development and innovation services to manufacturers in central PA since 1988; and the Williamsport/Lycoming KIZ has been helping entrepreneurs and start-ups in Lycoming County since 2005. Williamsport/Lycoming KIZ offers access to the powerful state KIZ Tax Credit that provides much needed financial support to qualified start-up companies. In Williamsport alone, KIZ Companies have collectively received nearly $2.4 million through this Tax Credit. Companies must meet certain criteria and locate their start-up business in a designated “zone” to qualify.
