🕵🏼‍♂️👀❓Can you help Rag Dog & Skeleton find their friends before Halloween?! Drawings of 8 well known characters will be scattered around downtown October 21-31. Find the drawings, use their stamp and turn in your completed post card to Otto Bookstore before November 1st to be entered to win a spooky raffle basket from Fox & Crow Studio.

✅ The post cards and stamps will be available at each of the 8 locations. Make sure to review the open hours of each store before heading that way!

📸 We’d love to see pictures of your adventures, so be sure to tag us when you are on the hunt!

🎃 We’ve also been told that Rag Doll & Skeleton friend will be making several appearances at Downtown Halloween Trick or Treat & Fall Fest - sponsored by Horizon Federal Credit Union on Wednesday, October 28th, 5-8pm, courtesy of Twinkling Tiara Parties. The Downtown Williamsport Alliance and City of Williamsport present the Downtown Halloween Trick or Treat & Fall Fest - sponsored by Horizon Federal Credit Union, from 5–8 PM on Wednesday, October 28th!

Fourth Street will be closed from Hepburn Street to Market Street beginning at 3 PM, to help ensure the safety of all participants. Vendors and downtown businesses will be set up throughout the event, handing out candy to all the little ghouls and goblins. Come in costume and enjoy a safe, fun-filled evening downtown!

ASIDE FROM TRICK-OR-TREATING…

🕷️ We are once again partnering with the City of Williamsport Recreation Department, which will be hosting its Fall Festival in the parking lot across from Otto Bookstore. Enjoy bounce houses, food vendors, games, free pumpkins and more!

🛍️ Horizon Federal Credit Union is back for the third year, providing trick-or-treat bags for the first 1,000 children. Stop by their location at 330 Pine Street to pick up your bag and start your evening!

🖌️Take your pumpkin from the Fall Festival over to Lamar Park to add some decorations, courtesy of W**e & Design!

👻 The The Mulberry Moose costume contest will be held at Pine and Fourth Streets at 6pm, with registration taking place 5:00-5:30pm. Prizes being provided by Otto Bookstore and Ravencraft 3D.

🎃 Visit with the Rag Doll and Skeleton Friend from Twinkling Tiara Parties for scheduled storytime, sing-along and dance sessions, plus wandering meet-and-greets throughout the evening!

👀 Leading up to Trick or Treat on 10/21-10/31 take part in our spooky scavenger hunt to help Rag Doll and Skeleton find their friends downtown. The winner will get a gift basket of crochet plushies and other items from Fox & Crow Studio! More details to follow.

🌻 Sunspot the Scarecrow by Ashley Innerarity at SewThrift will be bringing smiles and fun photo opportunities!

📸 A family photo station will be available at Fourth and William Streets.

☕ The Genetti Hotel Williamsport, a SureStay Collection by Best Western Hotel will be handing out hot chocolate at their booth at Fourth and William Streets.

🌭 Pine Street United Methodist Church will offer a photo opportunity and provide FREE hot dogs, chips, and drinks!

🎥 Let the little ones enjoy some family friendly clips from traditional halloween cartoons on our movie screen.

🎨 Pfirmans will be onsite providing FREE face painting for the little ghouls & goblins!

A map of participating businesses will be released during the week of the event.

Do you have your calendars blocked off this coming Satuday, October 3rd for Central PA Vintage Fest?! The owners of downtown's Retro Rack Vintage Clothing, along with Lonnie Wilcox, are taking their show on the road again for their 6th event at the Pajama Factory 10am-4pm. Food trucks and dessert will also be available!

It takes a village, y’all! 🥰 Our Safe, Clean & Green Committee completed our very first Clean-Up and Beautification Day on Monday and we could not be happier with the results. We had 22 Volunteers show up for a total of over 50 man hours, just to focus on the downtown core. In the same way our Main Streets normally glow due to the daily efforts of many, our nooks and crannies now shine brighter thanks to these volunteers!

Downtown legend, and our inspiration for the event, Cody Fuller, showed up with a cart full to join us for the first shift where we presented him with a certificate of appreciation. 💪 We see you, Cody. Thank you for all you do!

It takes a community to care for a community, and we can’t wait to get back out there again in the Spring. If you see an area downtown that could use some love, or if you are interested in getting your team involved during our next cleanup event, please email us at [email protected].

Barr’s ACE Hardware had everything we needed for our upcoming Downtown Cleanup & Beautification Day coming up on Monday, September 21st!

As the day before Fall we are using this opportunity to prepare our spaces for a new season, cleanup the areas we work in and volunteer to cleanup other public spaces.
