Last night, members of the Lycoming Law Association and their guests had a great time taking in the Little League World Series action! We were excited to cheer on the Mid-Atlantic Region as they faced the Southeast Region at Lamade Stadium. It was a great game!

The rain didn’t stop members of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Zone 4 (Lycoming, Columbia/Montour, Northumberland, and Tioga Counties) from enjoying a fun-filled day at Knoebel's yesterday!

Since 2003, the LLA Foundation has proudly invested nearly $270,000 in our community by providing legal education and training, supporting high school mock trial teams, providing for court-appointed child advocates, securing access to legal representation for county residents, and funding law school scholarships. The LLA Foundation thanks the judges and lawyers who are staunch supporters of this charitable work.

Yesterday the LLA hosted a Yoga in the Park event! Participants enjoyed the opportunity to connect with colleagues while focusing on wellness, movement, and the outdoors. Thank you to LLA member and certified yoga instructor, Matt Welickovitch, for leading a relaxing and engaging session.

The Young Lawyers Division of the LLA extends its sincere thanks to everyone who donated to this worthy cause! Hundreds of handmade blankets, along with no-sew blanket kits and additional blanket-making supplies, were collected to benefit local children receiving services from CYS and/or CASA.

Last week, members of the Lycoming Law Association attended the PBA House of Delegates meeting, joining attorneys from across the Commonwealth to discuss issues impacting the legal profession and the administration of justice in Pennsylvania.
