Scammers are getting more convincing every day, pretending to be government agencies, banks, utility companies, or other trusted organizations to steal your money or personal information.

🚩 Remember:
❌ The government will NEVER demand immediate payment.
❌ The government will NEVER threaten you with arrest or legal action over the phone.
❌ The government will NEVER tell you to withdraw cash, wire money, or purchase gift cards to resolve an issue.

If someone contacts you unexpectedly and pressures you to act fast, stop and verify before responding.

💡 Protect yourself and your loved ones by learning the warning signs of imposter scams and sharing this information with others.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Mark Murawski, a longtime member of the Roads to Freedom Board of Directors.

Mark dedicated many years of service to our organization and was a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities and independent living.

We are grateful for the time, wisdom, and dedication Mark shared with Roads to Freedom. His contributions will not be forgotten, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Mark's family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Smart Solutions for Safer Independent Living

Our Home Modifications & Assistive Technology team recently wrapped up another installation designed to increase safety, support, and independence at home. 💙

This project included:
📹 (3) Wireless 360° pan-and-tilt cameras
🔔 Video doorbell installation
🛏️ Floor mat alarm with bedside pager

These tools were strategically placed to improve home monitoring, increase safety awareness, and support caregivers while helping the individual remain independent in their own home.

From ordering and delivery to installation, setup, and training, our team worked to make sure everything was ready to use and tailored to the consumer’s needs.

Accessibility is more than equipment—it’s creating opportunities for people to live safely and independently in the communities they choose. ♿💪

Making Independence Possible—One Project at a Time 🛠️

Roads to Freedom recently helped complete a customized ceiling track lift system for an individual in Bloomsburg, PA, to improve , , and within the home.

The new overhead lift system now allows for safer transfers between the bedroom and bathroom while helping reduce caregiver strain and increasing independence with daily routines.

Every project like this helps create safer homes and greater freedom for the individuals we serve.

Huge thank you to Next Day Access and everyone involved in making this project possible!
