Masya Blackmon, a student in our Youth Aviation Program flew his first solo yesterday! He is the 24th student in the program to do so! Congratulations, Masya!! Masya is pictured with his instructor, Tim Hester. Tim is one of several instructors who volunteer their time instructing students in the program. Masya soloed in the Aeronca Champ pictured below. It's a taildragger airplane that was restored by the students in the Youth Program.
