🇺🇸Happy Memorial Day🇺🇸 from American Legion Post 236 Auxiliary!

We hope today you took some time out of your day to remember, honor, and acknowledge what this holiday is about.

Today the Auxiliary members honored our fallen like we do every year. We held ceremonies in all cemeteries in town, as well as assisted in the town ceremony and parade. Rain or shine. Year after year.

It’s not just a long weekend and an extra day off of work, it’s so much more.

Remember all and forget none.

The Auxiliary assisted with the 3rd annual Veterans in Motion 5k this morning held at yours truly American Legion Post 236🏃🏻‍♀️

We want to thank our fellow legion members, the police and fire department for traffic control and EMS support, and each and every one of you that participated in this event!

We couldn’t do it without you, and because of you we can continue to give back to our community and veterans🇺🇸

🚨Meeting Alert🚨

The Auxiliary has a meeting tomorrow, Thursday March 26th @ 5:30pm.

We will be discussing our HIT of a corned beef dinner we had which we can’t thank everyone enough for showing up and supporting as well as some other fun and exciting things.

Hope to see some faces there and remember, if you’re looking for something to put your time into that gives back to the deserving veterans of our country- come by and we can help you get that process started🇺🇸
