🌎 Happy World Environment Day! 🌿🏹

From the woods we hunt in to the ranges we shoot on, conservation plays a vital role in protecting the outdoors for future generations. Today, we encourage everyone to take a moment to appreciate, protect, and preserve the natural world around us.

Together, we can make a difference β€” one habitat, one project, and one generation at a time. πŸ’š

πŸ¦ƒ SPRING TURKEY SUCCESS SPOTLIGHT πŸ¦ƒ

Next up in our harvest highlights is Alexa Zak with Blazin Arrows in Wisconsin S3DA !

On May 16th, Alexa tagged this impressive spring bird while hunting from a Cabela’s blind. She used a Mossberg 510 Youth paired with Wi******er Longbeard ammunition to get the job done.

It looks like everything came together perfectly for this huntβ€”and that smile says it all about the fun and excitement of the day in the field. 😊

Congrats, Alexa!

πŸ¦ƒ Congratulations to Corey Krug of Bucks and Bulls Archery in Wisconsin S3DA on an incredible Spring Turkey harvest! Corey harvested this impressive 24 lb. tom on April 11, 2026, after an unforgettable afternoon hunt from a Muddy blind. πŸ”₯

After striking out in several spots that morning, Corey and his hunting crew regrouped with lunch and a quick nap before trying an area where turkeys had been spotted the night before. Set up overlooking a hay field as a light sprinkle began to fall, they watched deer slowly work into the field before hearing a gobble answer their calls.

Using soft calling sequences every 15 minutes, they watched the tom slowly close the distance. Then things got even more exciting β€” multiple toms appeared strutting across the field while the original gobbler kept making his way closer and closer. Finally, after what felt like forever, the bird worked into 35 yards, giving Corey the perfect shot opportunity. πŸ¦ƒπŸ‘

After a few high fives and reliving the moment, they of course grabbed some pictures.

Awesome job, Corey! Thank you for sharing your story and representing Wisconsin S3DA and Bucks and Bulls Archery out in the field this spring!

πŸ¦ƒ Another successful Spring Turkey harvest is on the board! Congratulations to Hayden Waid of Music City Archers in Tennessee S3DA on harvesting this impressive 20 lb. tom with 1-inch spurs on April 11, 2026! 🎯πŸ”₯

Hayden shared that this was his second tom of the season, and the hunt came with a memorable story. Hunting from a Rhino blind in his LaCrosse Snake Boots and RedHead ghillie suit, Hayden and his Pa worked the bird in using a glass slate call and an Ol’ Yeller slate call. The tom jumped a fence, disappeared under a ridge for a moment, then suddenly reappeared β€” giving Hayden the perfect opportunity to make the shot. Even cooler? The bird had a double beard! πŸ¦ƒπŸ‘

Great job, Hayden! We love seeing our S3DA archers making memories outdoors with family and enjoying successful seasons in the field.

Endangered Species Day is observed each year on the third Friday in May to raise awareness about plants and animals that are at risk of extinction. Established in 2006 by the Endangered Species Coalition, the day encourages communities, schools, zoos, and conservation groups to learn about endangered wildlife and support efforts to protect natural habitats. It also highlights the importance of the Endangered Species Act of 1973, one of the most important conservation laws in the United States. Activities often include educational programs, wildlife exhibits, clean-up events, and conservation projects aimed at protecting species for future generations.
