All you can eat shrimp, hot dogs, hush puppies, beans, cole slaw, and soda. Live entertainment this year will be provided by the Jesse Chong Band! Like us, buy your tickets, and share with your friends. Get ready for the best Shrimp Feast yet!

And somewhere in Williamsburg, someone is already planning how many plates of shrimp they can reasonably eat in three hours.

After weeks of counting down, the 45th Annual Kiwanis Shrimp Feast is finally HERE!

Now imagine it’s all being pulled off by a team of volunteers who are actually having fun doing it.
That’s Shrimp Feast.

Rick Overy has been part of this tradition for 40 years, and in that time, the event has helped Kiwanis give hundreds of thousands of dollars back to kids in our community.

So yes, we take the shrimp seriously.

But what makes this event really special is what happens when hundreds of people come together, have an incredible night, and help make Williamsburg a little better at the same time.

25 years of Shrimp Feast, and Mike Rock is still ready for another one. 🦐

There’s a reason this event has lasted 45 years.

It’s a night to grab your people, eat more shrimp than you probably planned on, enjoy some great music from Brasswind, catch up with half of Williamsburg, and know that the fun you’re having is also helping give back to the community.

45 years later, and Billy still gets excited when September rolls around. 🦐🎉

Billy Scruggs has been part of the Williamsburg Kiwanis Shrimp Feast for all 45 years, and according to him, there’s a pretty simple reason people keep coming back:

The shrimp are fantastic. Everybody is there. And it’s just a whole lot of fun.

But the best part? All that eating, laughing, and celebrating helps raise money that goes right back into our community.

That’s 45 years of shrimp, friendships, memories, and making a difference. ❤️

In just seven days, the shrimp will be steaming, the hot dogs will be grilling, Brasswind will be playing, and hundreds of volunteers will be getting ready to welcome Williamsburg to the 45th Annual Kiwanis Shrimp Feast!

For 45 years, this has been a night for friends to reconnect, families to make memories, neighbors to meet neighbors, and our community to come together for a really good cause.

This year, Williamsburg Jewelers is our Presenting Sponsor, helping us celebrate 45 years of bringing Williamsburg together for an evening packed with all-you-can-eat shrimp, hot dogs, hush puppies, live music from BrassWind, cold drinks, kids’ activities, and a whole lot of fun.

But underneath all that shrimp and music is something even bigger: a community coming together to support the work Kiwanis does for children and local organizations throughout the year.

Sharon and Connie moved to Williamsburg from Oregon and brought decades of fundraising and event-planning experience with them. Now they’re putting that experience to work with the Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg and the Shrimp Feast.

And after all the events they’ve seen over the years, Shrimp Feast still stands out.

Maybe it’s the all-you-can-eat shrimp. Maybe it’s the music. Maybe it’s seeing friends, neighbors, volunteers, and local businesses all come together in one place.

We think it’s probably all of the above. ❤️
