Cub Scouting members join a Cub Scout Pack and are assigned to a Den of boys or girls in their same grade. Tiger Cubs (first graders) and their parents meet in dens twice a month. Wolf Cub Scouts (second graders), Bear Cub Scouts (third graders), and Webelos Scouts (fourth and fifth graders) meet weekly. Once a month, all of the Dens and family members gather for a Pack meeting under the direction
of a Cubmaster and Pack Committee. Pack meetings are a time for all of the cub scouts and their families to get together and show off what they’ve done during the month and receive awards for activities they have completed. Cub Scouting is a year-round family program. Cub Scouts participate in hiking, camping, fishing, sports, crafts, woodworking, field trips, model car, boat and rocket derbies, and community service projects.
