Iowa County Pheasants Forever Dedicated to the conservation of pheasants and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management programs.

The Iowa County Pheasants Forever Chapter is working hard to create more wildlife habitat and introduce more people to the great outdoors. Give us a shout if you'd like to get involved!

Don't forget that our mentored dove hunt is coming up next week!

The first mentored dove hunt of the year will be Saturday, September 5th from 5-11am near Williamsburg. Limited spots are available. This event is open to first time youth hunters and first time adult hunters. Youth should be at least 11 years old and have experience handling their firearm. Adults should be new to wing shooting and in need of mentorship. Participants who have reached their 16th birthday must have taken a hunter education course, have a small game hunting license and a HIP #.

Priority will be given to first time participants. Registration will open to repeat participants on September 1st if spots are available. Register here:

Please bring your firearm, shells and a parent/mentor to help. Make sure you have your HIP #! If you need us to provide a mentor or firearm, please call Chris at 563-880-2582 so that we can match you appropriately.

Looks like the girls had fun at OJ this week! We were able to sponsor two Iowa County girls this year. If you know a young lady in Iowa County who would like to attend Outdoor Journey For Girls next year, we'd love to help!
