Update: Due to Covid restrictions, and lack of participation due to uncertainty of Covid we have made the hard decision to cancel this year’s Contemporary art show as well as the Plein Air show. We certainly look forward to September 2021. Refunds have been issued to those who had applied for the 2020 show. Any questions please email [email protected]

It’s not to late! As of right now we are still planning our Williamsburg Celebrates Contemporary Art on Saturday, September 26, 2020 on West Duke of Gloucester Street! We will be right in front of The William and Mary Bookstore (former Barnes and Noble). This is parents weekend for W&M and it should be a home football game as well! It’s a great show, lots of foot traffic! Interested, please email

We are still taking applications for the art show that is still on for Saturday, September 26th! This show will take place on parents weekend for W&M, and runs simultaneously as the farmers market. Great foot traffic, awesome show, and very good location on Duke of Gloucester Street.

Email [email protected] for more information. We have extended the deadline, and are not requiring artisans to demo their work due to space, electrical, etc.

Thank you for a wonderful show this year! Congratulations to our Plein Artist who braved the heat and painted from 8am-until 2pm! If anyone is interested in the artwork please let us know and we will contact the artist. All artwork is for sale! Thank you to our wonderful Contemporary artists that help make this show so successful. to help make this show successful! We hope everyone had a great day and look forward to seeing you next year!

We are all set up! Come out and see us! We are here until 3pm! Plein Air Artist are out painting! Come by at 2pm to see their “wet” art get judge in front of The William and Mary Book Store.

Artist who are in the show tomorrow please enter off Nassau Street instead of N/S Henry Street. You will be unable to get through N/S Henry Street. All booths are marked and stayed the same we have just moved down the street. Please make note of this change!

Plein Air artist I will be around in front of the Burton Parrish Gift Shop (in the street).

FYI. Tomorrow if you are participating in the Contemporary Art Event tomorrow please watch your email after 7pm tonight. I have a slight change with traffic flow, and we will be moving down further on the street. The 1st and 18th vendors will start/end in front of the Bruton Parrish House. No traffic will be allowed to enter on S/N Henry Street. I will send out an email later this evening. This will not effect your booth numbers!
