Join us July 28–30 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for three fun-filled days of learning, exploring, and making memories!

Registration is now open for 4-H Cloverbud Day Camp for ages 5-8. A completed registration form (link below) is required.

The cost is $50 per child, with a $10 sibling discount available (second child $40). Cash or check only—please make checks payable to the Whitley County 4-H Council. Payments are due by July 16 at 4:00 PM.

Registration includes lunch, a T-shirt, snacks, and all activities.

🌊🦠 Macro Mayhem: Stream Team Edition 🦠🌊

Join us for a fun and hands-on water exploration experience at Ballard Ford River Access after meeting at the Whitley County Cooperative Extension Office. Click the link at the end of the post to register.

Participants (ages 9 and up) will learn about the health of our local waterways by:
🔍 Identifying macroinvertebrates (small aquatic organisms that tell us a lot about water quality)
💧 Conducting water tests to measure stream health
🌿 Exploring the creek and discovering what lives beneath the surface

🚐 We will meet at the Extension Office and provide transportation to the river access site.
Parents are welcome to drive separately or tag along for the experience!

This program is a great opportunity for youth and families to get outside, learn about environmental science, and take part in real-world conservation efforts.

Come ready to get a little wet and have a lot of fun learning about our local streams! Closed toe shoes are recommended.
