What a joy it is to have church family all over the world! ❤️ On Sunday, we had the honor of praying for Amy and Leon as they prepare to return home.

One of the special things about living in Williamsburg is that we get to meet so many young people from around the world who come here to work in tourism for a season before returning to their home countries. We are so grateful for the opportunity to welcome them into our lives and our church family, even if it’s only for a short time.

Of course, the joy of welcoming people in also means the bittersweetness of saying goodbye. Our prayer is that when they return home, they’ll take a little piece of our church family with them and that the love of Jesus they’ve experienced here will go with them wherever they go.

Please continue to pray for Amy and Leon as they head back to their home countries. We are so thankful for the time we’ve had with them! ❤️

Today we celebrate not only your 46th birthday, but also the faithful man of God you are. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to preaching God’s Word with truth, leading with integrity, and loving the people God has entrusted to your care.

Your servant’s heart, vision, and dedication to the Kingdom continue to inspire so many. We are grateful for your leadership, your prayers, your wisdom, and your willingness to faithfully answer God’s call.
