We are so pleased that the recent generosity of our donors allowed us to make an additional donation to Hospice House at year-end. With that payment, our cumulative support of Hospice House since 1999 has now reached $1 million, and we are very proud of that achievement. We would like to thank all of our volunteers, donors, sponsors and players for their generosity and commitment over nearly 25 years!

We are blown away by the incredible generosity of Men's Charity Tennis, Inc. as they ended 2022 by reaching a milestone of one million dollars raised for Hospice House! Since 1999, Men's Charity Tennis has been supporting Hospice House of Williamsburg through their tennis tournaments and events, raising awareness and funding for our mission.

Please join us in thanking them for their dedication to the Williamsburg community. We are immensely grateful to be the recipient of their support!

We are happy to see that Hospice House is getting a bit of
well-deserved attention for its 40 years of caring service to our community. We've been proud to be a supporter since 1999.

Congratulations to Hospice House for 40 years of service and twenty years of welcoming guests to a wonderful facility. Thank you to the generous MCT donors and sponsors who have helped us support Hospice House since 1999.

Twenty years ago today, on July 15, 2002, the first guest arrived at Hospice House.

In 1982, “Hospice of Williamsburg” was founded as a nonprofit charitable organization by compassionate citizens and generous professional volunteers to enhance the quality of living for individuals facing the last phases of life and to support the people they love.

In July 2002, our 4-bed Hospice House opened our doors, created as a “home away from home” to provide short-term residential care for end of life support. Hospice House was built following a community-wide capital campaign that raised more than $1 million and garnered commitments of significant in-kind support from area contractors and suppliers.

Today, we take time to reflect on this history of Hospice House and look forward to all that lies ahead in the future. 🤍💚

Our for May is Hospice House of Williamsburg 💚 Founded in 1982, Hospice House will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year! The Hospice House team provides hospice and bereavement services with the mission to give care, comfort, and compassion through and beyond end of life. Located in the Monticello area of Williamsburg, the House is surrounded by gardens and paths, creating a peaceful and home-like atmosphere.

Hospice nurses and companions provide personal, 24/7 care, allowing families to return to their roles as spouses, children, parents, and siblings. Additionally, Hospice House offers grief and bereavement services to loved ones, as well as anyone who has lost someone—whether they were a guest at Hospice House or not. Most importantly, all of the services provided at Hospice House are free of charge, meaning those receiving hospice or bereavement services will never be sent a bill.

How can you support the work that Hospice House does for our community? The 9th Annual Hike for Hospice House is coming up on May 28th in Colonial Williamsburg. Register today to celebrate and honor the memory of loved ones and community members with a one-mile memorial walk, family-friendly activities, and a special remembrance for our country’s servicemen and women.
