Since April 17, 2022 we have raised $5780 from many parts of the US and several countries (Austria, Holland, Germany, United Kingdom, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Ireland) around the world. We have distributed $2332.56 to Friends of Lady Ridgeway Childrens’ Hospital, and $2332.56 to the Save-A-Baby organization to buy medicine and surgical supplies. We decided to work directly with these two organizations because both organizations have worked in Sri Lanka prior to the current crisis, and have built-in infrastructure necessary for direct impact of the donations.
Meds for Kids has filed for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in the US.
