Found this obituary - Seems I remember hearing about a Ferguson Store in Williams
Horace A Ferguson, 71 years old, retired Indianapolis grocer, residing a mile north of Williams, died at 2:20 p.m. Saturday at the Dunn hospital where he was admitted for treatment Friday afternoon. He had been ill the past six weeks. The remains were prepared for burial at the day-Carter and Roach funeral home and today were removed to the residence where they will lie in state until the funeral. Short services will be held at the residence at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Omar Porter, of Williams officiating. The funeral party then will accompany the remains to the Owensburg Church of Christ where final services will be held at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Logan Hatfield of Owensburg, and Rev. Porter officiating. Burial will be made in the Owensburg Cemetery. Mr. Ferguson was a native of Greene County and was born to Andrew and Stacy J. Records Ferguson March 10, 1868. He was twice married, first in young manhood at Owensburg with Miss Ola Gastineau, who preceded him in death in 1922. His second marriage with Miss Alma Witsman occurred at Bloomington July 28, 1926. Other survivors are four sons of his first marriage, George A., Riverside Calif.; Raymond, St. John’s Canada; Merlin, Detroit Mich., and Blaine, Racine, Wis.; a daughter of his first marriage, Mrs. O W. Inman, Peoria, Ill.; a daughter of his second marriage, Carol Jane, at home; a brother, Hubert Ferguson, Williams; a half-brother, Vince A Ferguson, Clay City; a half-sister, Mrs. Carrie, Crawford, Los Angeles, Calif.; and five grandchildren. Funeral services for Horace A. Ferguson age 71, who resided a mile north of Williams, were held Tuesday afternoon and burial was made in the Owensburg Cemetery. Mr. Ferguson passed away Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Dunn hospital here after being admitted the day before. He had been ill for about six weeks. Services were conducted at the home near Williams at 1 o’clock Tuesday with the Rev. Omer Porter offering prayer. “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere’ was sung. Rev. Logan Hatfield of Owensburg Church of Christ at 2:30 o’clock. The Williams choir of twelve voices sand Unclouded Day,” “No Disappointments In Heaven” and “Just As I Am.” Pall bearers were Raymond, Merlin, Blaine, and Vince Ferguson and Ollie Inman and Roy Sowders. Flowers were in charge of Ida Sheetz, Florence Inman, Elizabeth Hinshaw, Rebecca Maegerlein, Emily None and Pauline Terrill. Services were in charge of the Day-Carter & Roach funeral home.
