It has been some time since our last update, and we felt it necessary to provide a current status. My wife, Shannon, has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer, which has significantly altered our lives. As we have dedicated ourselves to serving Veterans, we must now focus on her health and combating this disease. Shannon is returning to the hospital today due to breathing difficulties and requires professional medical care. We will continue to provide updates on our website and newsletter. One challenge we are facing is financial strain. As you can imagine, managing this organization has been time-consuming and financially burdensome. However, we believe that our efforts to support Veterans and their families are invaluable. Currently, even purchasing healthy food is a challenge, but we will find a solution. I will explore remote employment opportunities in the tech industry in the future, but for now, it is not feasible. Please keep my wife in your prayers, as we believe in the power of prayer. Thank you.

Attached is the current Epoch Times article and a GoFundMe.

Edit: request has been fulfilled. Our network of veteran supporters is absolutely amazing!

We are currently working with an Army veteran and family living in their 5th wheel. They have an immediate need for two tires for their truck so they can get back on the road and he can get back to work. We are putting this out there to see if anyone has a couple laying around or are willing to donate. Size is 285-75-16

Thank you and God Bless!

Run for the Wall is in Williams for the night, and we want to give a huge shout out to Orange County Indian Motorcycle Riders Group for their generous donation to our nonprofit. They have shown support to our organization since 2020 - showing up for veterans, purchasing our coffee and making charitable donations so we can continue our mission of saving veterans lives. Safe travels as you continue your journey to DC!

Also, this year just wasn’t the same without Audrey’s big smile in the crowd, we miss her and she will never be forgotten.

A great short story about the Giant Killer who at 4’9 and less than 100 pounds led and fought in some of the bloodiest battles only to transition to civilian life to become homeless and almost forgotten. He wanted his story to be told because how hard the transition is for veterans and his friend made this happen. Slow hand salute Captain Richard Flaherty
