Fentanyl overdose rates may have declined a bit in Ohio and in the U.S., but they still remain a deadly threat.

The Erie County Health Department said Monday that in the past three days, there had been a spike in suspected overdoses days, including six on Friday.

August 21, National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day. I so wish I did not have to be aware of this day. The parents I have met and connect with know all to well what it’s like to Get “That Call”.. More than 300 people are dying each day - yes Each Day of this horrible drug. Most time mixed with whatever the the mixologist can get their hands on. In Trevs case a dog de-wormer plus 12 other things I can hardly pronounce. Please I urge you to talk to your loved ones - carry Naloxone - Educate - trust me, you do not want this life - our loved ones did not want to die nor did they deserve it. Most had no clue what was given to them. Trevor Reiderman you are missed beyond words and so loved 💜🪽

In 1985 a top secret song was being made - over 40 mega stars made a song in just a few hours to help starving kids in Africa - then you have Farm Aid, - people of the US are so quick to help other countries which is great, BUT what is anyone doing with the crisis today in the Great US of A where 279 people are losing their lives every single day to this s**t called Fentanyl Poisoning? Yeah I know what your thinking… don’t do drugs yada yada - our children did NOT want to die - Let’s do better America -

Today is Black Balloon Day 2024

What is National Black Balloon Day?🖤

On March 6, across the United States families and loved ones remember and celebrate the lives lost to overdose/poisonings. This day has become known as Black Balloon Day. Black Balloon Day has become a national and international event, bringing awareness to overdose deaths via poisoning in Trevs case.
On International Black Balloon Day we are encouraged to post a virtual Black Balloon on Social Media using , or fly a Black Balloon outside our homes to honor the lives of those lost to fentanyl poisoning.

Who are you remembering today?
I am remembering my beautiful boy Trevor 🖤
Maybe it's someone who has passed.
Maybe it's someone who is still struggling.
No matter who it is - let's remember them and send them love that is in our hearts.
No one wants addiction in their life.
