WFSC Wilkinsburg Family Support Center (WFSC) is a member of the Allegheny County family support center network. WFSC is child centered and family focused.

Family support is a family-focused approach to human service delivery. It is community based and there are no eligibility requirements for participation. As opposed to identifying and fixing what is wrong, family support focuses on identifying and building upon family strengths. Enrollment can be accomplished by completing the Enrollment process which requests name, address, telephone, names of ot

her household members desiring enrollment and identifying areas of interest. Families with children ages 0-12 may be interested in receiving support through a home visiting program. WFSC utilizes lessons from the Parents as Teachers Program and the Nurturing Parenting Program to help families with parent education, child development and nurturing skill development.These visits can take place in the family's home, our center or other locations.

Happening tomorrow!

Join us at Kelly Primary School from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. for our Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration Night and get the scoop on everything your child can look forward to. From meeting teachers to exploring our newly renovated spaces and enjoying a sweet treat, it’s a great way to get started.

Our Pre-K program is open to families outside the district, and students who live in the district receive transportation. All students receive breakfast and lunch, participate in field trips, and enjoy a well-rounded experience that includes art, STEM, music, and gym.
