Dear Parents and Families,
As I prepare to retire and begin a new chapter in my life, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we have shared together. It is with a mixture of gratitude, pride, and emotion that I write this letter to say thank you and farewell.
For the past ten years, this school has been much more than a workplace to me—it has been a second home and a central part of my life. Every day, I have had the privilege of witnessing the growth, resilience, and achievements of some truly remarkable children. Their smiles, milestones, and successes have been among the greatest rewards of my career.
I am deeply grateful for the trust you placed in us to care for, educate, and support your children. As parents and families, you are your child's first and most important teachers, advocates, and champions. It has been an honor to partner with you in helping your children learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential.
The mission of our school has always been centered on serving children with compassion, dedication, and excellence. I have been continually inspired by the strength and commitment of the families we serve and by the extraordinary staff members who work tirelessly each day on behalf of our students. Together, we have created a community built on care, respect, and a shared belief in every child's ability to succeed.
While it is not easy to say goodbye to a place and people who have meant so much to me, I leave with a heart full of appreciation and confidence in the future of the school. I know that the dedicated staff, leadership, Board of Directors, and families will continue to ensure that our children receive the support and opportunities they deserve.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives and your children's journeys. The memories I have made here will remain with me always, and I will forever cherish the relationships and experiences that have shaped these past ten years.
I wish each of you, and especially our wonderful children, continued growth, happiness, and success. May this school continue to thrive in its mission of serving our most precious population of children for many years to come.
With heartfelt gratitude and warmest wishes,
Shirley McAlister
