A few updates (better late than never!)

Congrats to this year’s scholarship winner - Brody Spindler - who will be continuing his education and athletic career at Shippensburg University!

Thanks to all 88 golfers who participated in this year’s tourney - and the Volpe foursome with their winning score of -13 under.

Thank you to all sponsors and donors who helped us award another $8k scholarship this year.

Thank you to Foxhill Country Club for hosting us. Great course conditions and great food - can’t wait to run it back next June.

🎓🏀 Congratulations to Daniella Ranieli – 2025 Cashmere Fund Scholarship Winner! 🏀🎓

We are thrilled to announce that Daniella Ranieli, a graduating senior from Pittston Area, has been awarded this year’s $8,000 Cashmere Fund Scholarship!

Daniella’s career on the court speaks for itself — 1,763 points, three-time all-state honors, and this year’s Citizens’ Voice Girls Basketball Player of the Year. Over four seasons, she evolved from a selfless point guard into the player every opponent tried — and failed — to stop.

But it’s not just her stats that make her stand out. Daniella is a team-first leader, a fierce competitor, and a humble role model who never sought the spotlight — even as she earned it.

She’ll continue her academic and athletic journey at Millersville University, where she plans to study pre-pharmacy while continuing to play the game she loves.

Daniella, thank you for representing Pittston Area with class, and congratulations on this well-deserved honor! 🏅🎓
