Team Kirby - Leadership Wilkes-Barre 2016

Leadership Wilkes-Barre is an independent, non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status whose mission is to develop informed and committed leaders from all segments of the community who will serve, strengthen and improve Northeastern Pennsylvania. Team Kirby has taken on the task of improving and raising awareness of Kirby Park, Wilkes-Barre's largest and one of the region's most valued recreational resources. Team Kirby's main goal is to place a sign for Kirby Park at the park's entrance... one you may have blown right by. This sign will raise awareness to the location of the park, hopefully attracting more visitors. In addition to the sign at the Entrance, Team Kirby will be performing maintenance on benches throughout the park, and will organize a park cleanup. The cleanup will coincide with Wilkes-Barre City's Citywide Cleanup in April!
