The organization’s purposes include the awarding of scholarships to selected students for tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses associated with attendance at post-high school educational institutions. Annually, the Organization brings together family and friends of William

Crumel Jr. and the Foundation to celebrate William’s life and to award scholarships in his memory. was born on January 9, 1970 and passed on September 6, 1998. He was a dedicated school teacher and earned a Bachelor's of Art degree from Virginia State University. Through the fundraising efforts of the Foundation, scholarships are awarded to selected recipients. A four-year commitment is made to each recipient with annual awards presented at the Annual Celebration and Scholarship Event.
