What a great time we had today at our meeting! Kristina Lee Jensen furnished a great breakfast, followed by a presentation by Chelsee Swen on her businesses, Chelsee's Mobile Cafe and Chelsee's AM Cafe, both in Wautoma.
Next were presentations by April and Jesse Landwehr's exchange students, Michael Hanna of Germany and Maral-Erdene Batbaatar of Mongolia. Some great comments and questions were raised by all speakers and participants. Wild Rose High School is fortunate to have exchange students, with their insights and perspectives!

We are proud to announce that the recipient of our Wild Rose Kiwanis Service Scholarship is Lilly Luchini. Congratulations, Lilly!
Our award of $3,000 was one of twenty-eight scholarships given out yesterday to Wild Rose seniors, for a total of more than $80,000.
Congratulations and best wishes to all of our graduates!

Today Donna Hoffman, Dan Arndt, John Jenks and Pete Duesterbeck met with Mid Morning Oshkosh Kiwanis Club for a Round Robin visit. The Mid Morning Club is energetic and has many fundraisers to benefit children in the area.

Great meeting today! Many thanks to our speaker, Jeff Anderson, Chairman of the Black Hawk Folk Society. Jeff presented an overview of folk music, the history of the folk society, and personal reflections. The group performs Sing Arounds Thursdays 1 - 3 at the Trading Post, and hosts concerts the second Saturday of the month. Check them out!
