The Trot for Tom Road Race and Walk is a one-time event that was established to honor the memory of Dr. Thomas Julian, who died of complications from a neurological disorder. As a scientist, Thomas believed in the crucial importance of supporting scientific research to ease suffering and to improve lives, and he made this goal his life’s work. To further his legacy, the proceeds raised will be don

ated to support research into better diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases, to raise awareness of the importance of supporting research, and to provide patients and their families with support, advocacy, and resources.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT! 🎉

“We looked and reflected on what we could do to perpetuate his aura, because he was an unselfish, giving person, and we decided on a road race and family picnic that he would’ve loved to see. I just hope he understands and feels the love that is generated today because of him.”

The ‘Trot for Tom’ road race took place at Minnechaug Regional High School on Saturday, kicking off at 11 a.m.

Online registration at runreg.com/trot-for-tom will close at midnight on September 11th, but day-of registrations will be accepted.

Please arrive early if you are planning to register on race day!
