Our trip to Columbus on Saturday, April 25th, was a perfect blend of learning and networking. We spent the morning at South Side Family Farms gaining insight into urban farming and community impact. Collaborating with allowed us to further strengthen our ties within the state. After exploring the OSU campus, we enjoyed a picnic together to celebrate a successful day of partnership. It was an inspiring weekend that highlighted the importance of building community in agriculture.

On Saturday, May 2nd, MANRRS Central State University dedicated their time to volunteering at One Bistro. Our team worked throughout the day waiting on guests, serving food, and keeping the dining area clean. This service supports the mission of One Bistro to provide affordable, healthy meals to the community regardless of a person's ability to pay. It was a privilege to help foster an environment where everyone can eat with dignity.

The final day of the MANRRS conference in Dallas focused on professional growth. We attended workshops led by industry experts, gaining fresh perspectives on career development, resume refinement, and mastering the S.T.A.R. method.
The highlight of the Golden Awards Brunch was seeing our chapter president, D'Anastacia Hutchinson, recognized for her victory in the Prepared Speech competition. She later delivered a powerful performance of her winning speech at the Gala Awards Banquet to close out the event. It was an incredible week of networking and inspiration.
