This week’s Hometown Highlight is Jamie’s Performing Arts Studio! Led by Jamie Howe, the studio is more than a place to learn dance—it’s a place where children grow in confidence, build friendships, and become part of a supportive community.

I’m especially thankful for the opportunities Mrs. Jamie has given me to teach and connect with her students. It has truly been a blessing to watch these young dancers learn and grow.

Yesterday, our community faced flooding, tornado damage, and heartbreaking loss. Today, we come together in prayer for Stone County and the City of Wiggins.

Please join me in lifting up every family affected, every first responder, every volunteer, and every neighbor helping neighbor. During difficult times, the true heart of our community shines through. We are resilient. We are strong. And together, we will get through this.

Wiggins has always been more than a town, it’s a family. Through faith, compassion, and determination, we will rebuild, recover, and support one another every step of the way.

Please continue to pray for healing, comfort, protection, and strength for all those impacted.

Introducing My Little Miss!

I am so excited to introduce my Little Miss, Jazz! Jazz is an amazing little firecracker with a personality that lights up every room she enters. She loves to dance, and her energy, confidence, and sweet spirit make her truly special in her own way.

Not only is Jazz my Little Miss, but she is also my little cousin, which makes our bond even more meaningful. One of my favorite things is seeing her face light up when she spots me. She’ll come running over, call me “Kayla,” and give me the biggest, tightest hug. Those moments always make my day.

Jazz brings so much joy to everyone around her, and I am so proud to have her by my side. She is kind, talented, full of life, and I can’t wait for everyone to see just how wonderful she is!

💜A moment I'll never forget💜

The day I found out I had been selected as Miss Hospitality for the City of Wiggins was definitely not what I expected. I was working at the baseball fields with Snow Boogers, serving customers and going about my day, when I received the news that would change my life.

In that moment, I was overwhelmed with excitement, gratitude, and disbelief. Never in a million years could I have imagined that I would have the honor of representing the City of Wiggins as Miss Hospitality.

Looking back, it's funny to think that such a life-changing phone call came while I was scooping snowballs at the ballpark. It serves as a reminder that some of the biggest moments in life happen when you least expect them.

I am so thankful for everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Being Miss Hospitality for the City of Wiggins has already been an incredible experience, and I can't wait to continue representing the people and community I love so much.

🎉💙 Yesterday was a wonderful day celebrating the Walmart Wiggins Grand Re-Opening! 💙🎉

As Miss Hospitality for the City of Wiggins, I was honored to be part of such an exciting community event. It was great to see so many people come together to support local organizations, enjoy free samples and goodies, and celebrate this new chapter for Walmart Wiggins.

A special shoutout to Frosty Mug for bringing their legendary burgers and fun energy to the event! It was also wonderful to see the community supporting the Wiggins Police Department, SPCA, and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through donations. The performance by the Stone High Pride Band was an added highlight and showcased the incredible talent in our community.

Thank you to everyone who came out, participated, and helped make the day such a success. Wiggins truly shines when we come together to support one another! 💙✨

🌮✨ Food Truck Spotlight ✨🌮

One of my favorite parts of serving as Miss Hospitality for the City of Wiggins is getting to meet wonderful people and enjoy great food along the way!

A special thank you to Las Marakas Tacos and Mas for the delicious meal and exceptional service. Not only was the food amazing, but everyone I met was so kind, welcoming, and friendly. Their hospitality made the experience even more memorable.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit Las Marakas Tacos and Mas, I highly recommend it! From the incredible food to the wonderful people behind it, it’s an experience worth having.
