MLK was in Boy Scouts of America. King was registered as a member of Troop 151 in Atlanta.

Today, Troop 18 celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man whose courage, vision, and dedication to justice transformed our nation.

Did you know Dr. King was a former Scout? His commitment to service, leadership, and character aligns perfectly with the values of Scouting. His dream of equality and unity inspires us to live by the Scout Oath and Law, striving to be helpful, kind, and brave in the face of challenges.

As we reflect on his words, ‘Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, “What are you doing for others?”’ let us honor his memory by serving others and working together to create a better world.

In obedience of the holiday Troop 18 will not be meeting this week.
