Share A Vision Share A Vision is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization that was founded in 1987 for the purpose of providing assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Share A Vision is a charitable organization that is committed to providing recreational activities for individuals with Autism and other disabilities through grants, fundraising events and community support. Currently the organization is focused on providing recreational activities for individuals with autism and other disabilities. We sponsor/support a variety of activities including vacations, family outings and social groups. One of the major components of our program is to provide educational preparation to our clients and their families prior to the trip/experience. We do this by holding a number of educational sessions prior to the activity. This is a vital component of these outings since it helps to ensure that the clients and their families get the most from these opportunities. It is also a tool that works to help educate others about the individuals with disabilities. We envision an organization that can facilitate all of the above activities with all the appropriate manpower, financing and organization that will allow for worry-free recreational activities for all concerned.

🎶 Groove into a Great Day with Mr. Mike! 🎶

Share A Vision is excited to offer the Mr. Mike Grant for the 2026–2027 school year!

This grant will provide up to 5 local schools with a funded 30-minute musical show and meet-and-greet with Mr. Mike, bringing music, fun, and meaningful connections to classrooms serving students with autism and other disabilities.

📣 Teachers & school staff — we want to hear from YOU!

If you work with individuals with autism or other disabilities, what recreational or leisure opportunities would you love to see come to your school?

Think beyond just equipment! Maybe it’s an in-house field trip, a special activity or experience brought into the school, an entertainer, a recreational program, or something your school could purchase and use throughout the year.

What would your students LOVE?
What would bring more fun and leisure opportunities into your school?
What kind of experience would you love to be able to bring to your students without having to leave the building?

The magic starts LONG before the trip!
There’s so much more to planning a Share A Vision trip than booking flights and packing bags!
From pre-trip meetings with our travelers, personalized social stories and visuals, airport practice, videos, and so much more, we work hard to help our families feel prepared, comfortable, and ready for the adventure ahead!
Every detail matters because every traveler deserves the opportunity to make unforgettable memories.
This is just a little glimpse of the preparation that goes into making the magic happen!

The Share A Vision 2027 trip recipients have been officially chosen! 🏰🐬

Selecting this year’s travelers was an incredibly difficult decision for our team. We received over 40 amazing applications from wonderful families. As a reminder, our travel program is uniquely designed to create accessible, magical travel experiences for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities and their families. We are deeply grateful for your vulnerability, enthusiasm, and continued support.

Please join us in celebrating and congratulating this year's incredible travelers as they head to Walt Disney World and Discovery Cove!

📱 Important Notification Update:
To streamline our process, we will not be sending out individual decision letters to applicants this year. Our trip recipients have already been notified directly. If you did not receive a phone call from the Share A Vision team, you were not selected for this year's trip.

✨ Looking ahead: If you weren't selected this time, your journey doesn't end here! Details of the 2028 trip and applications will become available in August 2027. Keep an eye on our page for updates so you can apply next year!
