Hi Neighbors, here's the big news we wanted to announce! 🤗

We are thrilled to unveil the new official logo for Keep Wickliffe Beautiful!

You might notice the type of flower: a classic red geranium! Why?

❣️ Local Horticultural Roots: Mere miles away from Lake County’s famous "Nursery Belt," Wickliffe has long served as a western gateway to the region's garden heritage.
❣️ Native Favorite: From wild geraniums thriving in Ohio's woodlands to the gorgeous blooms in your yards, geraniums have long brought bright color and life to our neighborhood landscapes.
❣️ Symbol of Community: Resilient, vibrant, and welcoming, the red geranium represents the energy our volunteers bring to keeping our city clean, green, and beautiful!

Our new logo pairs this timeless flower with our identity as an official Keep America Beautiful affiliate. It’s a nod to the past and a renewed commitment to take care of the place we call home. We hope you think so too.

If you'd like to weigh in about the deer population in Wickliffe, please fill out the survey below from the Wickliffe Police Department

City of Wickliffe officials recently met with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife to begin researching a possible whitetail deer culling program. One of the first steps of this process is a survey that residents of the City can fill out and is submitted to ODNR. The point of the survey is to simply provide an outlet for residents to report issues they are experiencing with deer. It is NOT designed to be a “you like/dislike” deer or “you want us to shoot/not shoot deer” type of survey. Litter across America has declined significantly since 2020, dropping from 152 pieces per person to 96.

That’s real progress. But 96 pieces per person is still too many.

Together, we can keep that number moving in the right direction and continue creating cleaner, greener, more beautiful communities.

Another annual award we do is our Business Bright Spots. The KWB team drives around the city seeking out Wickliffe businesses that have great curb appeal and landscaping. When businesses have inviting properties, our community prospers, so we want to shout out these dedicated businesses! 😊
