Collier Youth Services provides at-risk youth a chance to grow toward their potential in an environment that promotes belonging, dignity, and hope.

The mission of Collier Youth Services is to provide at-risk youth a chance to grow toward their potential in an environment that promotes belonging, dignity and hope. Collier’s diverse programs include alternative education for students with emotional and behavioral health needs, residential care for adolescents and young women recovering from trauma and in need of a home away from home for a time, and summer recreational programs for local children living in poverty.

Collier Youth Services was featured on News 12 New Jersey as campers at our Kateri Day Camp received brand-new winter jackets donated by OceanFirst Foundation with Operation Warm. This generous gift of warmth will keep all Kateri Day Camp youth warm throughout the cold winter. Thank you all for "covering" us ;)

Collier Youth Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable youth and young adults throughout New Jersey. Collier provides a safe and inclusive space for healing and growth, with therapeutic services that focus on the emotional, social, educational, developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs of each individual. Programs include Kateri Day Camp, a 7-week camp for children from Monmouth County households facing economic hardships, Collier School (serving ages 9-19), Collier Residential Program (serving ages 14-21), and Collier Transition Program (serving ages 18-21). Last week, Kateri Day Camp's 50th anniversary summer came to a close. From sharing ice cream with friends to performing their hearts out in the talent show, our campers had such an awesome summer! Thank you so much to all the Kateri Day Camp staff and supporters who make unforgettable summers for our campers year after year!

We were honored to welcome 10 Good Shepherd Volunteers to Collier Group Home! During their visit, the volunteers learned how the Good Shepherd mission and values align with our work and how we put them into action each day through the care, support, and sense of belonging we provide to our residents. As these volunteers prepare to serve at Good Shepherd agencies nationally and internationally, we are grateful that they chose to visit Collier Group Home and learn more about the work we do.

Last week our campers had a fun-filled day at iPlay America. They played tons of arcade games, went on the rides, won prizes, ate lunch, and so much more!

We recently welcomed some of our generous Kateri Day Camp supporters to our campus for breakfast as a thank you 💙☕

After networking, we went "down the hill" to join our campers for our daily flag-raising ceremony, followed by a tour led by two of our CITs (both of whom were previously campers!) Along the way, guests got a firsthand look at the joy, connection, and fun experiences that make Kateri Day Camp so meaningful and special.

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support that helps our camp thrive summer after summer. 🌞

We are so grateful to OceanFirst Foundation for coming to Kateri Day Camp last week to distribute winter coats with Project Operation Warm. All of our campers were able to select from an assortment of colors and sizes, so everyone went home happy! This generous donation will keep all of our campers warm throughout the cold winter season!
