Never Alone Crisis Support Ministry Never Alone Crisis Support Ministry - serving people traumatized by a violent act since 1993.

Problem: Those affected by violent acts often suffer from lack of support as they grieve and try to cope with their loss. This lack of support promotes:

• Sense of Isolation
• Resentment and Anger
• Complicated Grief
• Spiritual Anguish

Solution: Our goal is to provide support for such people in their time of need. We do this through providing the following services:

• Crisis Intervention
A

dvocate for victims, families, and friends after a violent act.

• Bereavement Groups
Provide a safe environment for sharing, and learning necessary coping skills to deal with the trauma and grieve a violent act.

• 24-hour Telephone Support
Be a listening ear to arising feelings and issues. Provide follow-up support calls.

• Card Support
Send monthly support letters. Remember anniversaries with cards.

• Monthly Community Groups
Events held where community and families come together.

• Memorial Resources
Available if families do not have clergy.

• Education, Prevention and Community Awareness Workshops and programs on grief, loss, violence and coping provided upon request.

• Children Groups
Children’s peer support groups are designed to provide a safe place where children can experience empowerment and helped to identify areas for growth.

• Life Change Group
Encouraging victims and families to explore and understand crucial life changes after a violent act occurs.
