Building a startup? NXTUS can help you get started with Amazon Web Services. We are an AWS Activate Provider, giving eligible startups access to up to $10,000 in AWS Activate Credits, valid for two years.

So, what is AWS? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a cloud technology platform that helps companies build and run websites, apps, databases, AI tools and more without having to manage their own servers.

AWS Activate Credits can help offset the cost of eligible AWS services, giving startups more resources to build, launch and grow.

Who’s eligible? Startups founded within the last 10 years that are self-funded or have received pre-seed through Series A funding and meet AWS’s other eligibility requirements.

5NEWS, the CBS affiliate out of Fayetteville, Ark., highlighted the inaugural HealthCatalyst Northwest Arkansas Showcase Week and the seven innovative startups that have launched $20,000 pilot projects with local community partners to tackle health and economic challenges across Northwest Arkansas. We’re excited to see these collaborations create lasting impact!

Each startup will share $20,000 with a local nonprofit organization to test solutions ultimately aimed at improving health and economic vitality across the area.

This morning, we attended the City of Wichita- Government's Walktober Proclamation Ceremony, officially recognizing October as Walktober and celebrating the role of walking in building a healthier, more connected community.

We're especially excited to see this announcement as 2026 Community Health & Vibrancy winner, Wellnify.ai, partnered with the Health & Wellness Coalition and Bike Walk ICT to encourage healthier daily habits through challenges, education, rewards, and community engagement.

Together, these efforts are helping make Wichita healthier, one step at a time.

The 2026 Community Health & Vibrancy Pilot Competition, presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, connected global startups with Kansas health and economic development organizations to test solutions to real challenges in our Kansas communities, announcing 16 pilot projects.

Since 2021, the program has supported 93 projects, with 62 finalists selected from 880 startups across 44 states and 41 countries.

This week wrapped up the inaugural HealthCatalyst NWA program by bringing seven startups and their community partners together to kick off $20,000 pilot projects focused on local health and community challenges.

From maternal health and substance abuse recovery options to mobility, housing stability and Community Health Worker workforce development, these pilots are putting innovative solutions into action and giving startups the chance to test their ideas in real-world settings.

The week included panels, working sessions, VC introductions, 1:1 meetings and the HealthCatalyst NWA Innovation Showcase, where nearly 150 community and business leaders came together to hear the startups pitch live and learn more about their solutions.

We’re excited to see what these partnerships accomplish over the coming months and the impact they can will have across Northwest Arkansas.

Another Kansan is headed to San Francisco this fall for the Startup World Cup Grand Finale after winning Wichita’s regional pitch competition earlier this month. And founder Miguel Johns is wasting no time adding reps to his startup through an AI partnership with a Wichita gym.
