Happy Founder Friday! This week, we’re celebrating Logan Schraeder with Toadworx and the incredible momentum he’s built across the Kansas startup ecosystem this past year.

From securing proof-of-concept funding through Groover Labs in partnership with the Kansas Department of Commerce, to participating in customer traction and growth capital programs, and most recently taking home 1st place and a $20,000 prize at the 2026 Shocker New Venture Competition through the WSU Center for Entrepreneurship, it’s been exciting to watch Logan continue building and growing.

Congratulations, Logan!

A big thank you to Alexander Ziegler and the Barton School of Business at Wichita State University for collaborating with us to make this workshop possible, and to Marisa VanSkiver for leading the session and sharing actionable insights to help founders improve their websites.

Because Mother’s Day is this weekend, this Founder Friday is dedicated to celebrating a few NXTUS alumni who are mothers building businesses, leading teams, creating opportunities, and raising families all at the same time. 💛🌷

✨ Over the last 9 months, Jocelyn Powell exited her first company, 2uauto Detailing, and is now building GO ACADEMIX while helping lead several family businesses. Together, their businesses now support teams of 60+ people all while raising two kids under three.

✨ Kristen Selby led Timely Executive Assistance through 65% year-over-year revenue growth in 2025, doubled the company’s assistant team, and brought on a fractional COO this year. At the same time, she’s raising three kids and cheering them on through basketball games, high school milestones, and everything in between.

✨ Audra Dinell, founder of The Thread: A Women's Leadership Collective, recently became one of the first practitioners globally certified in emotional agility. Through her work, she helps founders and leaders navigate growth and uncertainty while also reflecting honestly on the overlap between leadership, parenting, and resilience.

To all the founder moms balancing their startups, family, leadership, and life, we’re celebrating you this Mother’s Day weekend.
