We're back with another Founder Friday! This week, we're celebrating Miguel Johns, founder of Milton AI, on the company's recent partnership with Wichita gym, Optimal Performance, to expand AI fitness software.

Founded in 2022, Milton AI is a voice-enabled platform built for the fitness and wellness industry, helping coaches and physical therapists manage client data, create workout programs, and streamline day-to-day operations. Today, the company serves more than 150 gyms and personal trainers and is focused on rapid global growth.

Happy Founder Friday! This week, we're highlighting NXTUS alumna Paola Mentis, founder of Kónkeh Artisan Alfajor Pastries. Paola recently launched her pastry bus, bringing her handcrafted alfajores and other baked goods all over the Wichita community.

You can find the KONKEH bus every Saturday at the Old Town Farm & Art Market from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Be sure to stop by and support a local founder!

We had an absolute blast hosting yesterday's Camp Destination Innovation group!

The day started at 1 Million Cups Wichita, where the campers heard from two incredible Wichita founders, Candice Smith with State of Becoming and Logan Schraeder with Toadworx, about their entrepreneurial journeys. Then, we toured Groover Labs, giving the students a firsthand look at innovation and entrepreneurship in action.

After that, Maggie Smith gave the group a tour of The Commerce Club coworking space and The National Apartments, showcasing more of the energy and opportunities in downtown Wichita.

We wrapped up the day by helping the campers perfect their pitches and participate in peer roundtable discussions. It was a fun, energetic day, and our NXTUS team loved being part of it!

Our team loved attending the FlagshipKansas.Tech Ad Astra Summit last week!

Keynote speaker Salim Ismail shared an optimistic, glass-half-full perspective on the future of AI and the opportunities it can create, and we really enjoyed the day's breakout sessions and tracks for startups!
