The Source Wichita is a ministry to the body of Christ in our city. We gather Sunday nights at 5pm inside the chapel of the Downtown Church located at 445 N. Market Wichita, KS 67202. We are a discipling, equipping and sending ministry embracing our roles and calls as we partner in unity with the body of Christ in the city and world. We are a Disciple Community with Disciple Nations, connected rel
ationally by kingdom values while being an independent ministry. Our heart beats for 7 key areas:
Functioning in UNITY in the body of Christ. DISCIPLING the body of Christ. EQUIPPING the body of Christ. SENDING the body of Christ. Using our gifts to instill IDENTITY in the body of Christ. CONNECTING the body of Christ. Being a REFUGE for the body of Christ. Hear our heart. We are not trying to build our own thing. We exist to utilize our gifts, calls and roles to serve the body of Christ in Wichita. Our success is found in functioning in who God has called us to be, and using those giftings outside of titles and paychecks for the WHOLE body in Wichita. We are here to partner in unity as we live out the mission Jesus has given us to reach all nations with his gospel, and to not only share the gospel, but also our lives. In a nutshell, we're a ministry to ministries.
