As we wrap up Wichita Riverfest 2026, the staff and volunteers of The MLC / Medical Loan Closet want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your support. We could not have provided mobility assistance throughout the festival grounds without the dedication of so many generous individuals, far too many to list, but each one deeply appreciated.
One of our favorite memories from this year is captured in a simple moment: a volunteer walking alongside a festival‑goer, helping them reach their vehicle at the end of a long, joy‑filled day. It’s a perfect reminder of why we do what we do.
Our mission doesn’t end with Riverfest. Year‑round, we serve community members who are underinsured or whose coverage doesn’t extend to the mobility equipment that can make daily life safer, easier, and more dignified.
