📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE!

We’re making a small change to our weekly handout schedule! Our main handout day is moving from Sunday to Monday, allowing more of our organization members to be available and involved. And honestly, we couldn’t think of a better way to start the week than by giving back to our community! ❤️

Corner of Broadway & Pine

We will also continue our monthly partnership with Rooted Recovery. Every third Sunday of the month at 1:00 PM, we’ll meet at the same location on the corner of Broadway & Pine.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support what we do. We’re excited to keep showing up, serving our community, and starting each week by paying it forward! 🙌

A little update on donations:

At this time, we are still extremely overloaded with clothing donations, so at the moment, we are on a halt when it comes to clothing. However, we are still in great need of toiletries, hygiene products, non-perishable foods,and shoes, as these are some of the items our community members need the most.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every one of you for your kindness and generosity. Watching our community come together to help one another has been nothing short of beautiful. The amount of love, compassion, and support that has poured in continues to amaze us every single day.

Because of all of you, we are able to continue reaching those who need it most. Thank you for believing in our mission and for proving once again just how incredible our city truly is. ❤️

Due to the overwhelming generosity of our community, we've received such a large volume of donations that we're doing an extra outreach handout this evening.

If you or someone you know could use clothing, household items, or other essentials, please come by. Everyone is welcome to stop in, see what we have available, and take whatever they need. If you know someone who may not see this post, feel free to bring them with you.

We also have a mattress and end tables that are looking for a new home. As always, everything is completely free—if you need it, it's yours.

Thank you to everyone who continues to donate and make this possible. Your generosity allows us to help even more people in our community, and we couldn't do it without you. ❤️

We have a small favor to ask.

One of the incredible people who works tirelessly behind the scenes for Project Pay It Forward Wichita is going through a difficult time. She spends countless hours helping organize our storage, sort donations, and prepare supplies that go directly into the hands of those in need.

Right now, she's in urgent need of a car seat for a 2-year-old.

If you have one in good, safe condition that you no longer need, we would be incredibly grateful for your help. You can message us directly or drop it off at our donation location.

Also, stay tuned this week—we're excited to announce a donation we're making to an incredible cause that we're proud to support.

The support from our community has been nothing short of incredible, and we truly can't thank you all enough. Because of your generosity, we are currently overflowing with donations.

At this time, we have to temporarily pause accepting any new donations. We have simply run out of storage space and need to focus on getting the donations we already have into the hands of the people and families who need them most.

Please know this is only a temporary hold. As soon as we have the space and are ready to begin accepting donations again, we'll let everyone know.

Hello Friends!

We are currently looking for gently used adult-sized backpacks and suitcases that you may no longer need. My goal is to place these with local businesses and encourage them to fill them with toiletries, socks, snacks, hygiene products, and other essential items that can then be distributed to those in need.

We thought this would be a great way to give gently used backpacks and suitcases a second life while helping those most in need while also giving a shoutout to the business who are helping us ❤️

If you’d like to include a few toiletries, snacks, socks, or other essential items inside the backpack or suitcase, that would be greatly appreciated…but please don’t feel obligated. The backpack or suitcase itself is a huge help!

If you have something you’d be willing to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. I’m happy to do porch pickups or meet wherever is most convenient for you.
