This special evening is dedicated to the memory of Pat Hysko, a steadfast advocate for the School of Music. Pat and her husband Don opened their home for intimate garden concerts and warmly welcomed celebrated French organists and organ builders from Notre Dame in Paris—helping shape a rich musical tradition in our community.

✨ Enjoy powerful works by Bach, Du Mage, Bruhns, Sweelinck and Alain, plus a post‑intermission Conversation with the Artist that offers deeper insight into the music.

On Sunday, the Wichita Chapter has its annual Epiphany Dinner and Student Recital. We had 16 students perform! It was an exciting afternoon. Thanks to all of the teachers and performers!

Help celebrate our chapter dean, Carole Pracht !

Our beloved Cathedral organist, Carole Pracht, has been a cherished part of our parish family for five decades. In her 50th year of service to the Cathedral Parish and the Catholic Diocese of Wichita, Carole has graced our liturgies with extraordinary music, enriching countless celebrations — from weekend Masses to weddings, funerals, and special events. Her dedication and talent have touched nearly 10,000 services over the years! We invite you to join us in celebrating all that Carole means to our community. A special concert in her honor will be held on Saturday, November 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the Cathedral. A reception will follow in Good Shepherd Hall.

Join us for our first event. It's not a performance, but it's a social event that includes shopping in our scholarship organ library that helps fund student scholarships, an installation of our executive board, a guest appearance by Julia Child, AND an ice cream social. It will be a great afternoon of fellowship. We hope to see all of our chapter members in attendance!
