SCA Happenings in Vatavia – Week of June 1, 2026
Greetings, Vatavia!
Lilies War is almost here! With many members of the Barony heading off to war, our usual schedule will look a little different this week.
Because so many of our members will be at Lilies, Sunday's regular practices are canceled. Additionally, Wednesday will not be our normal officers' meeting instead, we will just have a casual gathering and A&S meetup. Come join us, work on projects, and spend time with friends before the war begins!

Barony of Vatavia's Rattan Tournament of Valor finals. The longest running tournament in Kingdom of Calontir.

05/31/2026

Wow so many people at practice today! What a great way to start the week. We had 7 people in loaner armor. Keep an eye on our calendar for the next practice and come join us!

Baron Brynki

Hello Vatavia!
This year’s tournament of Valor was simply incredible. We had 25 newcomers receive their mugs—what an outstanding testament to the welcoming atmosphere that the populace of Vatavia is proud to cultivate.
We want to thank foremost our volunteers that made the event run: set up and tear down, gate, sanitation, tavern, teachers, officers, and general volunteers. We also want to thank everyone who came out. We are grateful for the confidence placed in us as Vatavia’s new stewards and will take our vows very seriously. We love our home and friends and are so excited to see what the future holds!
As you know, our Prince and Princess have asked for as many Vatavians as possible to attend Their coronation July 11th. Let’s try to carpool and coordinate crash space to make that happen! Prince Yurick and Princess Alicia will be the first Vatavian crown in 36 years, so get excited!

Yours in service,
Baron Brynki
