Miss Kansas week is not for the weak! My days have been starting at 4:00 AM and ending after 12:00 PM! So I was thrilled when Harvest Nutrition brought us all loaded teas between rehearsals! They even used the drink I designed called “The Miss Arkansas City”! It was just the pick-me-up we all needed to refill our energy!!

Day 2 started off with a Women’s Empowerment workshop hosted by the Vernon Filley Art Museum! We got to hear stories from 6 different incredible women in the Pratt community!

They also had an exclusive exhibit on display for us titled “Queens” It was inspiring to see the different cultures and depiction of women over time.

A certain piece of art caught my eye and I knew I needed to leave with it so I got to take my own piece of the experience home with me!

While at the Kick Off To The Crown Bingo event I met my other Little Sister!! This sweet girl named ✨Mayzie-Rai✨ picked me out of all the delegates! I am so greatful to have an opportunity to build a relationship with another young girl!

I am so happy to introduce my Little Sister ✨Maren✨

She was a student in one of my dance classes and has a love for dance and all things that keep her active! She is a kind and loving girl who cannot wait to get to experience the Miss Kansas competition!

With this being my first state pageant it is so special to me to have one of my own students share the spotlight with me!! I spent the evening with her and wrapped up our Miss Kansas competition prep by learning the Little Sister dancer with her!

I am so blessed to have this little one supporting me throughout the phases of competiton and I cannot wait for her to experience the sisterhood the Miss Kansas Organization has to offer!💞
