As a partnership between Goodwill Industries of Kansas and WSU Tech, NexStep Alliance recently launched a new Spanish GED pilot program to help native Spanish-speaking students earn their GED through instruction taught entirely in Spanish.

This initiative reflects the full-circle impact of our programs, as former student Gerardo returns as an educator, helping open doors for the next generation of learners in our community.

Thank you to KMUW for highlighting the NexStep Alliance Graduation. We celebrated 57 graduates last week who reached major milestones through our partnership with Goodwill Industries of Kansas and WSU Tech.

From earning high school diplomas to completing career certifications, these students worked hard to achieve their goals, and we're proud to celebrate our graduates!

Congratulations, graduates! 🎓 Last night we celebrated the Class of 2025–26! This year, 79 students earned their high school diplomas through the Goodwill Industries of Kansas' NexStep Alliance program, a partnership with WSU Tech. We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished.

Last night, we continued celebrating our ESL students and all they accomplished this school year! 🎉👏

Congratulations to all of our ESL students on the hard work, dedication, and confidence they’ve built in reading, writing, pronunciation, and job readiness skills.

This morning, we celebrated our ESL morning classes and all they accomplished this school year! 🎉

More than 150 students participated in classes, with over 60 earning language and reading credentials. Students wrapped up the year with a potluck and celebration alongside instructors, staff, and classmates.

Thanks to your support through shopping and donating at Goodwill Industries of Kansas, students gained confidence in reading, writing, pronunciation, and job readiness skills.
