The Miss Vietnam Wichita 2026 pageant is approaching! Here is how you can taking part in voting for the Miss People’s Choice 2026 title.!

Voting will only take place in person during the pageant. Everyone will receive a paper ballot with all 5 contestants’ names. Each ballot only allows one vote. During the event, the audience can also donate to their favorite contestant’s box for additional votes. $1 = 1 additional vote.

All voting and donations will end after intermission.

The contestants with the most votes and donations will be crowned the next Miss People’s Choice 2026! 👸🏻✨

In an effort to be transparent about the pageant process, the Miss Vietnam Wichita 2025 Court has decided to share our judging criteria for the 2026 pageant.

We hope this provides all the information contestants need to prepare and helps the audience understand how the titleholder is crowned. 👑

Meet Contestant #4 Vivian Ly

Hello everyone! My name is Vivian Phuong Vy Ly. I’m currently a sophomore at Wichita East High. Some of my interests right now are competitive swimming, playing violin, piano, and guitar, and dancing for Asian Cultural Dance Club. Honestly, I want to participate in the Miss Vietnam Wichita pageant to connect more with my culture and be immersed in an environment that isn’t as common in my household. Last year as a freshmen, I watched the Miss Vietnam Wichita Pageant to support a few friends and it actually inspired me to do more in order to connect with my family and culture. I’m incredibly excited to be a part of this year’s pageant, mostly because of the people but also due to the cash prizes. But even then, my main focus is to speak more Vietnamese and learn about my own culture to connect with my own grandparents and family since this is a sure-fire opportunity to do so. I want to personally thank Miss Vietnam Wichita for giving me this opportunity and being able to meet my pageant sisters.

Meet Contestant #3 MyThuy Dang

Hello everyone! My name is MyThuy Dang, and I am a 16-year-old sophomore at Derby High School with a passion for innovation and creativity. I hope to pursue a future in computer engineering, where I can turn ideas into something meaningful and impactful. Whether I’m competing in DECA, building through robotics, or playing volleyball, I am constantly pushing myself to grow, lead, and step outside of my comfort zone. Being part of Miss Vietnam Wichita 2026 represents more than just a title to me, it’s an opportunity to deepen my connection to my Vietnamese heritage and use my voice to uplift others. If given the honor, I would strive to inspire those around me to embrace their identity with pride, support one another, and confidently pursue what they are passionate about. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and excited for the journey ahead.

Meet Contestant #2: Scarlett Nguyen

Hello everyone! My name is Scarlett Nguyen. I’m 18 years old and will be a freshman at the University of Kansas in the fall, studying biology. I want to follow in my parents’ footsteps in the medical field, helping the community and veterans in the Wichita area. Some of my interests include yoga and spending time with my family. Since traveling to Vietnam last summer, I’ve become more interested in learning about my heritage and culture. Not only do I want to impact the Vietnamese community, but I also want to make a difference in the Wichita area as a whole. If I were given the honor to serve as Miss Vietnam Wichita 2026, I would work to bridge the gap between the older and younger Vietnamese generations to keep our culture and traditions alive.

Meet Contestant #1: Tammy Nguyen

Hello, everyone. My name is Tammy Nguyen contestant number one. I am a 21 years old international marketing major at WSU. I aspire to one day be able to collect items from different cultures into the US. If I were to be crowned Miss Vietnam Wichita 2026, I would help the Vietnamese American children connect with their culture and I want to also help those who have immigrated to America from Vietnam. As I travel around the world and the country, I can see that many Vietnamese communities are growing and I can see it here in Kansas as well. I would like to be personally involved in helping the Vietnamese youth connect with their culture and to help bridge the always evolving Vietnamese culture in Vietnam to Kansas. I am deeply grateful for what the previous generations of princesses and Ms. Vietnam Wichita, that they have opened the door to more opportunities to come and wish to be apart of it.
