Midtown Neighborhoods Association To preserve, develop & promote Historic Midtown Neighborhoods as a vibrant & desirable community.

Founded in 1972, the mission of Historic Midtown Citizens Association (HMCA) is to preserve, develop and promote Wichita's Historic Midtown Neighborhood as a unified, vital, and desirable residential community. HMCA is the oldest neighborhood organization in Wichita and encompasses one of the city's most diverse neighborhoods, which includes a wide range of ethnic, economic, and cultural backgrounds. Its boundaries are 21st Street on the north, the BNSF railroad tracks on the east, Central Street on the south, and the Little Arkansas River on the west. The area includes three state and nationally designated historic districts.

My daughter is missing. 5’8 115 pounds, long black hair and hazel eyes. Left for the bus this morning in a light grey/white Nike sweater and short black athletic shorts and a Nike Jordan black backpack.
She left sometime during lunch from school, this was premeditated as she left her phone at home so she couldn’t be tracked. I did not get notifications she wasn’t in class until 5:02PM.
If you see her please do not approach- call 9-1-1. The individual she is with is possibly armed and dangerous. Case number 26c193900.
She may be in Topeka Kansas by now but we don’t have confirmation.

We want to hear from you! Residents, property owners, business owners, and community stakeholders are invited to participate in an open house for the Midtown Neighborhood Plan update.

➡️ Community Room at the Downtown YMCA, 402 North Market Street.

The plan will help guide City initiatives, investments, and priorities in the neighborhood over the next 10 years. Community input will play a key role in shaping the plan.
