Super busy last week 😅
We’ve had daily food request (some we even amazoned to the requested) and sponsor vetting for a sick kitty. We’ve been quiet lately but not because we haven’t been doing stuff behind the scenes!

Funds received from our low-cost nail trims go back into our spay program and pantry. 💗💗

We make no profit from microchipping as it costs us for each microchip and for the lifetime registration, but we believe reuniting pets is important!

Did you know some mama cats can be spayed from the flank so they can continue nursing their kittens comfortably? 🐱💕

A flank spay is performed on the side of the abdomen instead of the belly. This approach helps protect the incision from curious, hungry kittens and allows mom to keep nursing without irritation. Even better — it prevents her from becoming pregnant again before her current litter is weaned.

Why does this matter?
• Cats can go back into heat VERY quickly after giving birth
• Nursing moms can still become pregnant
• Back-to-back litters are hard on mom and worsen pet overpopulation

By performing a flank spay, we can protect mom’s health, support her current kittens, and stop the cycle of repeated pregnancies — all at the same time. 🙌

Spaying nursing moms is safe, humane, and one of the most impactful ways to reduce unwanted litters while keeping families together. 💙

Okay, friends, let's get real for a minute.
Our shelves are empty.. No dry food, no wet food, no litter. EMPTY. We receive daily pet food and vetting requests, among others, and we don't currently have enough resources to fulfill them.
That being said we do get a few donations a month that help fill smaller requests and we are VERY grateful for those donations but even with those we get less than $100 a month and sadly our programs can't continue at that rate.
We are going to need either a push of supplies and resources or we will have to close our doors.
