Good evening Bright Lights families!

This Monday and Tuesday's activity might be one of our most challenging one yet! We had our kids paint little monsters on taped popsicle sticks. While also giving them as much CREATIVE freedom with this as possible, because the whole goal of this project was to push their cognitive and problem-solving skills to the test, which seemed to promote their emotional and behavioral growth as well. By letting them use all sorts of colors, once we removed the tape on the back it made it harder to put the "puzzle" together. It was so fun seeing how everyone worked together all on their own. It made a great memory for everyone!

Hello friends!

Our STEM activity this week was a ball run. So, each student got to create two little tunnels and were prompted to then work together to make one giant tunnel. It definitely took some time to decide to how to put it together but by having them on teams to create a little bit of competition they were able to figure it out together!

Bright Lights is a safe and fun learning place to be at, after school! When schools closed due to the water advisory, they brought their own water bottles and worked on IXL When it was raining, they enjoyed reading on the turf. Celebrating birthdays and playing tag after enrichment activities was a bonus!

This Tuesday, our kids were able to learn more about who really was Jackie Robinson and WHY he was so important. Through using math to solve different equations about him from our clues, working together as a team, and interpreting all our answers to reveal his story we kept learning as fun as ever!

Hey friends! Registration is now open for League 42, all are welcome to join and come bat with us.

We will be accepting returning families on September 26th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For all other families interested in joining or have questions we will be open October 3rd from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and October 10th from noon to 4 p.m. All of our registration days will be held on Saturdays to better fit everyone's schedules.
