Say hello to a new South Central leader.

I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself as your new Newton NEA president. My name is Janine Clayton. I have been an educator for the past 20 years with the last 12 years teaching 5th grade at Santa Fe here in Newton. I am also the mom of 3 kids who have or currently attend the Newton Public Schools.

I am excited for my new role as your NNEA president! I want you all to know I am here to support, lead and advocate for all of our Newton members. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if I can help in any way!
